What do you do if you have candida? I have no idea. The things most people say you have to do is totally non-realistic. It would make me even more psychotic when it comes to food. Why make myself even more OCD about my food rituals and habits. I am a recovering anorexic from 8 years ago...Those of you who have suffered from anorexia know you are never completely recovered. It is much like what an alcoholic deals with.
Most websites say you have to eliminate all carbohydrates and sugar. This includes candy (okay easy), fruit, wheat, potatoes, carrots, rice! Basically anything that has carbs in it even if it is good carbs. Some people say this works, others say it doesn't do anything. With a diet like this I don't know what I'd eat and would likely starve to death. What is a person supposed to eat to make themselves feel full? I do not find any enjoyment when eating meat. I basically eat meat because I have to live.
Let me just list what 1 website says are the symptoms of candida. You will understand what I mean when I say total ridiculousness. A lot of these are mercury toxicity symptoms. Sounds like someone whoever reported all of these symptoms has multiple problems going on. Stuff in ( ) I added in.

Let me just say you have only just begun. Candida is very complicated and if you have it you will eventually find that out. Candida symptoms do not necessarily mean that you have ALL those symptoms. But any one or a combination of symptoms is definately possibly. I will explain why that is. Candida normally resides in our body, both inside and on our skin. Candida live internally in our intestinal track along with our healthy bacteria. Both our healthy bacteria and candida are there for a reason. They help digest foods and break down into vitamins and minerals we can absorb. Without them we could not exist. If you have ever mistreated your body by taking antibiotics, steroid such as birth control pills or other kinds of medications you may have disrupted your bodies natural balance of bacteria and candida. The bodies healthy bacteria can be killed off fairly easily with poor diet, stress, medications, constipation etc. In others words anything that in counterintuitive to your body. Once healthy bacteria levels die off candida begins to grow and take over. Why? Because you need somthing to break down your food and since you have killed off healthy bacteria the candida takes over the job. The only trouble is that candida does not break down the food and return healthy nutrients to your system. Instead it manufacturers a waste product that is absorbed by your intestines and circulated throughout your body. Here is where the trouble starts. The waste by products are very toxic. You don't feel it at first as your liver deperately tries to filter out the toxins. But eventually your liver becomes overwhelmed. This could take years. Once that happenes you start feeling it. IN all kinds of ways. For each person it is different. Wherever you have a weakness is where it may attack or weaker you further. So since it is so individual and everyone's body is so different there are probably thousands of symptoms one could potentially experience from being overloaded with these toxins. I myself have experienced many. Not all at once but for months it was anxiety, then my heart would race, my eyes would hurt, my vision became poor, itchy rashes etc. I could list dozens myself. All from the same ailment. As I fight candida it is like peeling back layers of an onion and you experiience retracing of symptoms or even new ones. It is not easy to get over. You have to be tenacious. And yes, diet is the biggest part. As I explained earlier Candida's job is to mainly to break down sugars. So the idea is to starve it and weaken it by NOT feeding it. Instead you eat things that will encourage your own healthy bacteria. What would you eat? Meat, fish, chicken, most vegetables, lots of big raw salads, possibly some nuts like whole almonds. After that AGAIN it is up to the individual. Some people can handle some wheat. Some can handle less sweet fruit like granny smith apples or strawberries. If you are serious I would not recommend fruit at all. After it is weakened and starting to die off you eat lots of fiber, drink ,lots of water, do enemas to flush it out and replace healthy bacgeria as fast as you can. All this to try to restore balance. I hvae done it before many years aog and was successful returning to a normal diet and was fine for years until I needed to take heavy doses of antibtiocs. It returned and this time has been much much harder. Good Luck to you. You can try to ignore it if you like, but candida will not go away on its own and will continue to get worse until it is addressed. You may be doubtful now but when you become sicker and sicker you will have no choice but to address it.
